A Short Bio…

Like all great musicians, Chris began his career in Kansas.

No, seriously at age 7 he started playing piano and became obsessed with the works of Beethoven, Chopin, Schubert, Schumann and Rachmaninoff.

Eventually, he made his way to Boston to study further. Always in bands, always writing or performing, he earned a business degree while studying classical performance and composition.

After college, and while living in Boulder, Colorado, Chris began delivering songs to ad agencies. He landed some of his early songs in campaigns for American Express and Intel, Corp. He also had one of his songs on the hit MTV reality show, The Hills.

After these early ‘wins’ Chris moved to Los Angeles and signed his first ‘deal’ with Disney / ABC Television Group. Soon he was hearing his music on award-winning shows such as Good Morning America (45+ episodes) and 20/20 (20+ episodes).

Chris also landed commercial spots for Sony and LinkedIn and had his music featured in the iHeartRadio Music Awards (2015) and The Academy Awards Best Picture Presentation (2016).

Chris soon began working with Warner Bros. and Telepictures Music, composing 100’s of tracks for their slate of shows including, Extra (530+ episodes), The Ellen DeGeneres Show (45+ episodes), Katie (20+ episodes) and The Chew (35+ episodes).

In 2019, Chris signed his first publishing deal with Position Music. Songs from his debut album with Position have been placed in trailers/promos for Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and most recently, AMC’s The Walking Dead - World Beyond Trailer.

Chris is currently writing / producing his second album for Position Music and has already secured syncs and promos with HBO, The CW Network, FOX, CBS and more.

In addition to his deep love of music… Chris is an avid reader, swimmer, science geek and lover of all things outdoors. And, of course, he continues to love all things Kansas City (most notably his Chiefs).
